Americano vs Mexicano, briefly
Both formats count up points rather than just wins and losses, so every point played matters right to the end. The difference is pairing: Americano rotates partners on a set pattern so everyone plays with and against everyone else; Mexicano reshuffles pairings each round based on the current standings, so strong players tend to face stronger opposition as the day goes on.
What iTournee can do today
Pick the Points race preset when you set up scoring on /new: matches count up to a points target (16, 21, 24 or 32) or run to the clock, and every point counts towards the table. It's Americano-style scoring without the partner rotation — your pairs stay fixed for the event, which still gives you a fast, sociable points-race afternoon with a live table everyone can check on their phone.
- Set the Points race preset and a target or time limit per match
- Paste your player list and let iTournee draw balanced fixed pairs, or fix partners yourself
- Choose League only so everyone plays everyone, or Groups if numbers are larger
- Share the one link — players follow the table and their next match live
