iTournee Terms of Service
Version 1.2 · Effective 1 October 2026
These terms cover your use of iTournee (itournee.com). Please read them before you publish a tournament. By ticking the box at the publish step, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
iTournee is run by iTournee.com, based in England. You can contact us at support@itournee.com.
2. What iTournee does
iTournee lets an organiser set up a tournament and share one link or code word. Players and spectators can then view the schedule and enter scores from their own phones. Standings, knockout seeding and bracket progression are worked out automatically from the scores entered.
You don't need an account to set up a tournament. Publishing a tournament creates its live link. iTournee is free while it's in beta; section 4 explains the prices after that.
3. Your responsibilities as organiser
- You must be 18 or over to publish a tournament.
- The names you enter must be ones you're allowed to use. This includes players' names, and it means telling the players that their names will be shown on the tournament page to anyone who has the link.
- Keep your admin PIN and organiser recovery link safe. Anyone who has them can change scores or the tournament's set-up. We can't recover a lost recovery link unless you gave us your email address when you published.
- Anyone with the link can enter scores. This is a deliberate part of how iTournee works. You can correct any score with your admin PIN.
- Don't use iTournee for anything unlawful, offensive or abusive. Don't try to disrupt the service, get around the payment step, or reach other organisers' tournaments.
4. Price and payment
- iTournee is free while it's in beta. We'll give at least 14 days' notice on this site before the beta ends. A tournament published during the beta stays free.
- After the beta, tournaments of up to 6 teams (12 players) stay free. Tournaments of 7 teams or more cost the price shown on the button before you pay, currently £16.99, and that's the total you pay.
- Founding organisers. If you publish a tournament during the beta, your first paid tournament after the beta is free. There's one credit per email address. It has no cash value and can't be transferred.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Each fee covers one tournament, which is live from the moment it's published.
5. Cancellation and refunds
This section applies to tournaments you pay for. A paid tournament is supplied as soon as you publish it. When you publish, you're asking us to make it live straight away. Before you pay, you tick a box to confirm two things:
- you want the tournament supplied immediately, and
- you understand that you lose your right to cancel and get a refund once it's published.
This means we don't give refunds once a tournament is published. This doesn't affect your legal rights if the service is faulty (see section 6).
If you pay but the tournament doesn't get created (for example, because a technical problem stops it publishing), email support@itournee.com with your payment reference. We'll either create the tournament for you or refund you in full.
6. If something goes wrong
We take care to keep iTournee working. If a fault on our side stops your tournament working as described, tell us at support@itournee.com. We'll try to fix it, and if we can't, we'll give you a full or partial refund. If you're a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you this right whatever these terms say.
iTournee runs on the internet and on the phones of the people at your event. We can't guarantee that it will never be interrupted, for example by a poor mobile signal at the venue, an outage at one of our hosting providers, or the wrong scores being entered.
7. Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
- Otherwise, our total liability to you for any one tournament is limited to the fee you paid for it, or £16.99 if it was free.
- We aren't responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen. If you use iTournee for a business, we aren't liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity.
- We aren't responsible for prizes, bets or other decisions made on the basis of scores entered by players.
8. Your content and our rights
- The tournament details and names you enter remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them so that we can run your tournament.
- iTournee itself remains ours, including the software, the format engine, the design and the "iTournee" name. Each tournament page shows a small "Powered by iTournee" footer.
- We may use anonymous, aggregated figures (for example, "500 tournaments run") to describe and promote the service. We won't name your event or its players in our marketing without your permission.
9. How long tournaments stay live
A published tournament stays viewable for at least 12 months after its event date. After that, we may archive or delete it, as set out in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete your tournament sooner at any time.
10. Suspension
We may take down a tournament if it breaks section 3 (for example, offensive names or misuse). If the fault was ours, we'll refund the fee.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your tournament is the one you agreed to when you published it. The current version is always at itournee.com/terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer, you may also have rights under the law of the part of the UK where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
